Cabool will host a Christmas tree lighting ceremony Saturday, Dec. 6.

The event runs from 4 to 5 p.m. The lighting occurs at 5 p.m. at the downtown Cabool gazebo.

Donations will be accepted for the Angel Tree, including gloves, hats, socks and blankets.

There will also be a time to write Christmas cards for deployed soldiers.

Hot cocoa and cider will be available.

CABOOL CHRISTMAS PARADE

Cabool’s annual Christmas parade is 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13. Line up is at Cabool High School beginning at 5 p.m.

There will be three categories — best themed, best faith-based/religious and spirit of Christmas. Prizes will be awarded.

The theme is “Cabool Country Christmas Parade.”

LICKING CHRISTMAS PARADE

Licking’s Christmas parade is at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. Line up is at 3 p.m. at Licking High School.

“Oh What Fun” is this year’s theme.

A craft fair runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post home on Main Street. Pictures with Santa are available from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
