A Houston man is charged with causing property damage after police said they found furniture tossed and water pouring from sinks on Nov. 20.
Jacob Evans, born in 1997, was charged with first-degree property damage on Dec. 22. Bond is set at $2,500 cash only.
According to a report, the Houston Police Department said it arrived at the property and found water covering the floor. It said faucets in a bathroom and kitchen were running and drains had been disconnected, causing water to flow onto the floors. The alleged victim said the motive was a broken relationship that resulted in Evans calling her work multiple times, making threats to kill her, burn down the house and kill a dog.
Evans denied the accusations, but admitted to threatening to burn the house.
