Between Dec. 8 and 14, the Houston Police Department responded to 172 calls for service and initiated 23 traffic stops, resulting in seven citations and 23 warnings.
- On Dec. 10, officers responded to the 300 block of W. Chestnut for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On Dec. 11, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On Dec. 11, officers cited Shaakir K. Steward, 36, of Houston, for driving while intoxicated.
- On Dec. 13, officers cited Kaelan R. Clifton, 19, of Houston, for driving while intoxicated.
- On Dec. 13, officers were called to the 500 block of W. Chestnut for a theft. Following an investigation, officers cited Brent W. Strange, 33, of Houston, for stealing under $750.
