Between Dec. 1 and 7, the Houston Police Department responded to 165 calls for service and initiated 34 traffic stops, resulting in six citations and 31 warnings.
- On Dec. 1, officers received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.
- On Dec. 1, officers cited Edgar Aaron Diaz-Garcia, 20, of Houston, for driving while suspended.
- On Dec. 2, officers responded to the 300 block of W. Mill Street for a theft. Officers later recovered the stolen property, and two suspects were referred to juvenile authorities.
- On Dec. 3, officers arrested Donald Odom, 62, of Houston, on an active Dent County warrant per charge of resisting arrest. Odom was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated due to the warrant having no bond.
- On Dec. 4, officers cited Scott Campbell, 44, of Pacific, for operating a motor vehicle with no valid operator’s license.
- On Dec. 4, officers initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the 57-year-old male driver, who was found to have a revoked driver’s license. The male was placed under arrest for driving while revoked, and a report will be forwarded to the Texas County prosecutor for formal charges.
- On Dec. 5, officers cited Susan L. Dixson, 49, of Salem, for first-degree trespassing after she entered a business in the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard after being previously trespassed from the property.
- On Dec. 5, officers arrested Ray Kitchen, 37, on an active Phelps County warrant per charge of fourth-degree assault. Kitchen was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was able to post the $2,000 bond and was released.
- On Dec. 5, officers responded to the 500 block of Hawthorn Street for a domestic dispute. The parties had separated prior to the officers’ arrival.
- On Dec. 7, officers responded to Hamrick Terrace for a motor vehicle theft. Investigation is ongoing.Â
