Houston’s annual Christmas parade is at 6 p.m. Saturday (today) in the downtown business district.

The parade is sponsored by the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. The theme is “An Old Country Christmas.”

A Christmas tree lighting ceremony follows it at the Lone Star Plaza at Grand Avenue and Pine Street. It is sponsored by the Houston Lions Club. Mayor Sam Kelley will light the tree. The Houston choir will sing Christmas carols.
