A project kickoff for the Texas County Early Childhood Education Program — aimed at increasing child care possibilities in the county — is set for 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7 in Houston.
It is an effort of the City of Houston Department of Economic Development in partnership with Kids Win Missouri and Childcare Aware of Missouri.
The event is at the Houston Storm Shelter at 191 N. First Street. An entry is on the west side of the building that also houses the Texas County Library.
