A Licking man and a 4-year-old girl were injured Thursday morning in an accident about five miles south of Rolla, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. C.M. Barclay said a northbound 2016 Hyundai Veloster ran off the right side of U.S. 63, became airborne and overturned.
Both were taken by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla. The man had moderate injuries, and the child’s injuries were minor, the patrol said. Barclay said the man was not wearing a seat belt, but the child had a safety device.
The vehicle was totaled.
