Texas County Public Water Supply District No. 1 issued a boil water advisory Tuesday for some customers in northwest Texas County.
A water leak is reported.
The areas include:
- Route AW from Evening Shade Family Market going north to the South Gate of Fort Leonard Wood.
- This will also include the following side roads: Palace, Platte, Cardinal, Nodaway, Robin, Worth, Atchison, Pump Station, Westgate, Willow, Walnut, Wainwright, Heritage, Elder Springs, Walter, Walbash, Saddlebrooke and any other side roads that are connected to Route AW between these areas.
“We are very sorry for this inconvenience at the holidays. Samples will be taken one day next week, once the lines have all been flushed and cleared,” the district said in a statement.
The district said the leak may take some time to fix.
