Thomas Scott Ferguson, of Beulah, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 19, 2025, at the age of 59.

Scott was born on Sept. 30, 1966, to Thomas R. and Judith R. (Buttenhoff) Ferguson. He grew up with his three sisters, Jill (Mark) Mueller, Melissa (Delaine) Hare and Ann (Mark) Knese in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 1985, he met the love of his life, Ronda L. (Holschlag) Ferguson. They married on May 19, 1990, in St. Louis. They had one daughter, Megan (Ryan) (Ferguson) Pratt on July 14, 1994.

Scott was the jack of all trades, master of a few. He loved being outside with his horses, dogs or puttering around on the farm. If you ever had the honor of knowing Scott, he always had an inside joke or a funny name for everything, even himself.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas R. Ferguson; his paternal grandparents, Russel C. and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Parry) Ferguson; and his maternal grandparents, Roy F. and Marjorie née Ross Butenhoff.

Scott will be greatly missed by his surviving family including his mother, Judith; wife, Ronda; daughter, Megan; three sisters, Jill, Melissa and Ann, along with their spouses and children; a son-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri in Scott’s name. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net. Arrangements are entrusted to Fox Funeral Home.
