Two Plato residents were injured Tuesday night in a Laclede County accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. D.R. Willhite said an eastbound 2024 Subaru Ascent driven by a 58-year-old Plato woman was stopped in traffic at Route 32 and Highway N when a 2024 Ram truck operated by a 77-year-old Lebanon man struck it in the rear.

The Plato woman and a 6-year-old girl, who were not identified, were taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Both vehicles had moderate damage.
