HOUSTON
A one-cent sales tax earmarked for parks, police and fire generated $72,445 in November, down $4,936 from the same period a year ago.
A one-cent general sales tax decreased $4,756, totaling $74,956.
Two quarter-cent sales taxes for utility work and transportation totaled $18,111.
A use tax applied to online and out-of-state purchases increased $4,815, totaling $15,806 for the month.
CABOOL
A one-cent general sales tax totaled $29,056, down $7,337 from the same period a year ago.
A half-cent sales tax for transportation needs was down $3,669, totaling $14,528 in November.
A half-cent sales tax earmarked for law enforcement totaled $14,447 for the month.
A use tax applied to online and out-of-state purchases increased $328, totaling $9,466.
TEXAS COUNTY
For Texas County, merchants collect three half-cent sales taxes. Each totaled $94,301 for November, down $20,943 on each from the same period a year ago.
The sales tax on online and out-of-state sales totaled $97,653, up $24,165.
Revenue from a three-eighths-cent sales tax earmarked for law enforcement totaled $64,523, which was down $15,617 for the month.

Gee, I wonder why everybody saw a decrease in tax collection.
