Members of the Texas County Commission met Dec. 17-18 to transact business.

Commissioners:

  • Reviewed and approved the Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) for county employees.
  • Approved the 2026 holiday and pay period schedule.
  • Heard that Presiding Commissioner Scott Long attended several meetings Dec. 16 at the South Central Ozark Council of Governments office at Pomona.
  • Reviewed the Texas County University Extension Council’s November report, studied the public administrator’s annual financial report and received a refund from Security Bank as part of the final payment for the Texas County Justice Center.
  • Met with attorney Sean Smith.
