A Dec. 26 accident in southern Texas County resulted in charges against a Willow Springs man. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to a crash at Route 137 and Chapel Road. According to a report, David A. Doyle, born in 1988 and of the 800 block of Honeyfield Drive, was a driver of one of the vehicles. He was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The other driver had minor injuries. 

Doyle is charged with DWI – aggravated, DWI – physical injury, both felonies; and driving while revoked/suspended, having no insurance and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway, misdemeanors. 

Lab reports showed Doyle’s blood-alcohol content was .194 percent, more than twice the legal limit, according to a report. The patrol said Doyle has three prior DWI convictions. His license was under a 10-year revocation, it said. 

Bond is set at $4,000 cash.
