State Rep. Bennie Cook presented a Missouri House of Representatives Resolution to Reese Bucher in recognition of his decades of outstanding service to Texas County Memorial Hospital, the TCMH Auxiliary and the greater Texas County community.
The resolution honors Bucher’s 20 years of volunteer service and more than 3,000 hours dedicated to the TCMH Auxiliary gift shop, as well as his lifelong commitment to serving others. During the ceremony, Bucher also received a plaque from TCMH, presented by CEO Bill Bridges, and his name was added to the Auxiliary’s honorary plaque in recognition of his contributions.
In addition to his volunteer work at TCMH, Bucher is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a Shriner and a Freemason, and has faithfully served the community through Meals on Wheels and the Texas County Hunger Walk committee. In 2016, he was one of just 34 Missourians to receive the Senior Service Award from then-Lt. Gov. Pete Kinder.
“It was truly an honor to present Reese Bucher with a Missouri House of Representatives Resolution,” Cook said. “His dedication to Texas County Memorial Hospital and the people of our region has made a lasting difference, and this recognition is well deserved.”
