A Cabool man was arrested Monday afternoon in Wright County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Edward N. Castleberry, 68, is charged with DWI, failing to drive on the right half of the roadway and wearing no seat belt.

The patrol said he was released for medical treatment following an accident on Highway E four miles north of Norwood. Castleberry was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala that traveled off the roadway, went through a fence and gate and came to rest in a field.

He was taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Cox South in Springfield.

The vehicle sustained extensive damage, said Cpl. Jacob Sellars.
