The Cabool Police Department handled eight traffic stops from Jan. 5 to 11 that resulted in a summons issued.
On Jan. 5, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Cedar Avenue for a theft report. Upon arrival, it was determined that a chainsaw was taken by a person known to the victim, according to law enforcement. A probable cause statement has been sent to the Texas County prosecutor.
