Between Jan. 5 and 11, the Houston Police Department answered 186 calls for service and initiated 38 traffic stops, which resulted in nine citations and 33 warnings.
- On Jan. 5, officers responded to U.S. 63, near the Texas County Health Department, for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. A 16-year-old juvenile was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
- On Jan. 6, officers cited Adrian D. Davis, 41, of Houston, for driving while suspended.
- On Jan. 6, officers arrested Samantha C. Flemings, 38, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charge of possession of a controlled substance (two counts). Flemings was transported to the Texas County Jail, where she was incarcerated after being unable to post the $2,500 cash-only bond.
- On Jan. 7, officers cited Willie J. Bender, 41, of Houston, for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
- On Jan. 8, officers responded to the intersection of Holder Drive and U.S. 63 for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
- On Jan. 10, officers responded to the intersection of U.S. 63 and Holder Drive for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
