The Piney River Technical Center in Houston.

The Houston R-1 School district reported Monday it received a perfect score from three sites tested for lead in November inside the Piney River Technical Center.

The district, which partners with Get The Lead Out LLC, said test results concluded “none detected” to indicate no lead in the water sources that were tested as part of a remodel inside the building.

Get The Lead Out is a drinking water testing program that tests for the presence of lead in drinking water in schools with the intent of reducing childhood lead exposure. Results from Houston Schools can be reviewed online at https://www.houston.k12.mo.us/page/water-act.
