A man who was residing part-time at a Cabool apartment is charged with two felony counts of not registering as a sex offender.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol investigation found that Michael D. Prewett was registered in Wright County, but had been staying with his wife and child at least three days a week at Cabool Apartment Drive, according to a report.

The patrol discovered he was operating a vehicle not listed on his registration, according to a report, in addition to failing to update his location.

Prewett, born in 1993, is held on $4,000 cash-only bond.
