A Jan. 6 investigation in southern Texas County led to a DWI — chronic charge, a class C felony.

Richard S. Anderson III, born in 1978 and resident of Ozark, was stopped by a National Park Service ranger who found an open case of beer behind the driver’s seat. A preliminary breath sample showed a blood alcohol content of .175 percent, more than twice the legal limit, according to a report.
