A Mountain Grove man is charged with two felony counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, class C felonies, following an investigation by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department.
Jerry S. Barnett, born in 1987, was found with a .45-caliber pistol and a 20-gauge shotgun, according to a deputy’s report following the Sept. 14 inquiry.
Bond for Barnett, a resident of the 9900 block of Highway AM, is $2,000 cash only. He also was arrested on a felony Wright County drug warrant.
Records show he was already on probation for drug-related offenses.
Charges were filed Jan. 2.
