Dr. David Dale, a former Houston, Missouri physician, passed away in his sleep on Jan. 23, 2026, at his home in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on Jan. 24, 1947.
He graduated from Unionville High School and attended Newton School system, Wentworth Military Academy, junior college in Lexington, Missouri, The University of Missouri in Columbia and graduated from the Kansas City School of Medicine and Surgery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Gilbert Dale; his mother, Gwen Page Dale; and brother, Gilbert Dale Jr., MD.
He is survived by his daughter, Allyson Dale and husband Charlie of Springfield; and brother, Richard Page Dale of Fort Worth, Texas.
David had a love for the outdoors and animals, particularly horses. He greeted everyone with a big smile.
David was a devout Christian and follower of Jesus Christ.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026. Services are under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield.
