The Houston High School boys basketball team routed Summersville, 62-32, Friday night in Tiger Fieldhouse.

The host Tigers fell behind 9-2 early in the game, but dominated the rest of the way to post the lopsided victory and improve their season record to 5-6.

Houston senior Caden Guerra shoots during the first quarter. After the Wildcats jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the period, Guerra scored 5 straight points on a long 2-pointer and a 3-pointer to put the Tigers ahead for good at 10-9.
HHS freshman Blake Sanders is fouled in the act of shooting by Summersville senior Micah Cooper during the second quarter. Sanders went on to sink 2 free throws as the Tigers took control of the contest in the period, outscoring the Wildcats 14-5.
Guarded by Summersville sophomore Reed Peifer, HHS senior guard DJ Riley maneuvers with the ball in the low blocks during the third quarter. The Tigers scored 19 points in the period while holding the Wildcats to only 7.
HHS freshman Karson McCain spots up for a 3-point shot. After going scoreless in the first half, McCain drilled three shots from deep and poured in 15 points in the second half.

HHS junior guard Dillon Shelton dribbles between defenders at the mid-court line during the fourth quarter. Shelton sank a pair of 3-pointers in the game and scored 9 points.
HHS senior Gavyn Daily makes a move to the basket during the fourth quarter. Daily scored a season-high 10 points in the game, and was part of a balanced scoring attack as six different Tigers players scored at least 8.
