A Roby man was injured Tuesday morning in northwest Missouri when a truck hit a patch of black ice and lost control, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The 34-year-old man was in a 2022 Ram 3500 that crossed the center line of westbound U.S. 136 in Nodaway County and traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its passenger side, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. No names were released.

The man and two others, who had minor injuries, were examined by Nodaway County EMS and refused transport.
