A Yukon woman was injured Tuesday night in an accident one mile east of Yukon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Nathan Poynter said a southbound 2017 GMC Yukon ran off Route 17, struck a small tree and an embankment.
The 29-year-old driver was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. She was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle had minor damage.
Since this paper never acknowledges any other fire department except Houston. Good job to Tyrone fire department for assistance in removing the patient from the vehicle in nearly knee deep snow in the ditch and remain on scene until the vehicle was removed and driven from the scene.
