Dry conditions continue to spark fires in the area, various departments reported Monday morning.

Multiple departments — Houston Rural and Nebo/Falcon — helped Roby with a wildland fire on Highway M. It was reported north of Stallcup Road. It is believed it was started from a cigarette being tossed out a window.

Sparks from an electrical pole sparked a grass fire response later from Houston.

Houston Rural also was called to the Solo area on Monday afternoon. It was determined to be a controlled burn.

Early Monday evening, a field fire was reported at 12376 Highway AP, Roby.
