Houston police investigated three assaults during the last week.

Between Feb. 16-22, the department answered 155 calls for service and initiated 27 traffic stops, which resulted in three citations and 24 warnings.

•On Feb. 16, officers responded to the 100 block of Sugar Maple Drive for a domestic disturbance. Both parties agreed to separate for the evening.

•On Feb. 18, officers cited James Evans, 40, of Houston, for driving while suspended.

•On Feb. 18, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a reported theft. Following an investigation, officers cited Jordan S. Wilds, 26, of Eminence, for stealing under $750.

•On Feb. 21, officers responded to the 1000 block of South Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. Following an investigation, officers cited Darrin A. Firestine, 46, of Houston, for stealing under $750.

•On Feb. 21, officers responded to the 200 block of West Chestnut for a reported assault. Following an investigation, officers cited Colton Osborne, 18, of Houston, for assault, fourth- degree.

•On Feb. 22, officers responded to the 500 block of Hawthorn Street for a domestic disturbance. Following an investigation, officers arrested a 31-year-old male for domestic assault and transported him to the Texas County Jail. A report was forwarded to the Texas County prosecuting attorney for the filing of formal charges.

•On Feb. 22, officers responded to the 1100 block of South Sam Houston Boulevard for a reported burglary. Officers located the individuals involved, who were all juveniles. A report will be forwarded to the Texas County Juvenile Office for the filing of formal charges.
