A Willow Springs woman was injured in a Monday afternoon accident east of Pomona, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The 25-year-old driver, who was not wearing a safety device, was traveling westbound on Highway N about five miles east of Pomona when her 2008 Pontiac G6 traveled off the right side of the road and struck a mailbox and fence, said Tpr. J.Q. Hummell.
She was transported by aircraft to Cox South in Springfield with serious injuries.
The vehicle had minor damage. Tpr. D.B. Howell assisted at the scene.
