Dads and daughters danced the night away Friday at the 10th annual Daddy-Daughter Date Night hosted by Faith Fellowship.
The event encourages dads and daughters to dress up, go to dinner then create a night of memories with photos, refreshments, activities and of course dancing.
“The memories created on this night last a lifetime. Literally,” Pastor Jeff McNiell said. “I was blessed to bring my daughter to the first one our church hosted and will always cherish that time together. It’s our honor to host this event for our community and our families.”
Variety of tempos for the night
Kendyl Cook, 13, dances with other girls in the church gymnasium. The event is for girls ages K-8 and includes both upbeat songs, line dances and slow songs.
St. Louis DJ entertains attendees
DJ Integrity was the special entertainer for the 2026 Daddy-Daughter Date Night. The event has included various acts, singers and entertainers the past decade. DJ Integrity led the dads and daughters in sing-a-longs and even a dance circle that included dads doing the worm.
Professional photos capture night
Each family receives a professional photo as a memory for the night. This year’s photographers, Denay Green and Dustina Cook, captured an image of each group as they arrived on the church campus.
Rose ceremony an annual tradition
McNiell, the lead pastor of Faith Fellowship, leads a prayer of blessing for the dads to repeat over their daughters. A rose ceremony and prayer are featured parts of the night each year.
Slow dance to end the night
After all the jumping and upbeat moments, the night concludes with a slow dance for dads and daughters to cap a night of memories.
