An accident east of Summersville resulted in moderate injuries for a 56-year-old Winona man Friday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
The driver was operating an eastbound 2010 Freightliner that traveled off the left side of Highway D and struck a tree, said MSgt. Christopher Kimes.
The driver, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View.
The vehicle was totaled.
