A Cabool man is charged with auto theft following an incident early Tuesday, police said
Shawn J. Morris, who was born in 1968 and resides in the 700 block of Patton Avenue, is charged with motor vehicle theft and tampering with a motor vehicle, both class D felonies. He is held on $25,000 cash or surety bond.
A victim believed the vehicle was taken between 1:45 a.m. and 4:15 a.m.
Police said Morris was found with the truck at 5:33 a.m. at a Cabool business.
