Texas County commissioners held meetings to handle area matters on March 4 and 5.
UPDATES
- Commissioners met with Matt Floyd, Cerris, to discuss HVAC maintenance/plumbing issues.
- Commissioners John Casey and Scott Long attended Texas County Day at the Missouri Capitol.
- Casey attended a Twin Cities Industrial Park meeting on Friday, March 6 in Mountain Grove.
- Sheriff Scott Lindsey discussed an armored vehicle acquired in the wake of the Christian County incident.
- The commission reviewed and acknowledged the hiring of Terry Kell as a full-time office assistant in the collector/treasurer’s office effective March 4.
- The maintenance department provided updates concerning projects at the sheriff’s office.
- Commissioners met with Grant Wilson, of Congressman Jason Smith’s staff, concerning several issues in the county.
- Kevin Crider, University of Missouri Extension/Missouri Department of Conservation, provided an update relating to feral hog removal efforts.
