Eight members of the Houston High School band were selected to perform in mid-February at the 2026 University of Central Missouri Honor Band Festival.
Participants were recommended by HHS band director Rebecca Peterson to attend the clinic and perform an evening concert with other muscians from the state. Selected were:

- Victoria Fulbright
- Noah Johnson
- Eli Jones
- Christopher Leighty
- Landrum McNiell
- Cason Woosley
