The Houston High School drama department is presenting a three-day performance this week at the Melba Theater.
‘Murder at the Malt Shop’ will have four showings in downtown Houston: 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as a 3 p.m. matinee Saturday.
The 1950s themed drama centers on the murder of an unpopular principal at Sprout’s Malt Shop, requiring the sheriff to identify the killer among a cast of colorful characters.
Costumes, props and the set design are provided by the Stars Foundation.
