After assignments announced Friday morning by the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA), Houston High School’s spring sports teams now know what district they’re in for the 2026 season.
The HHS baseball team is in Class 3 District 9, along with Liberty, Licking, Thayer and Willow Springs.
The HHS softball team is in Class 2 District 3, along with Bourbon, Grandview, Kingston, Licking, Potosi, Salem and Steelville.
The HHS tennis team is in Class 1 District 5, along with Forsyth, Liberty, Licking, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, Mountain Grove, Salem and Willow Springs.
The HHS golf team is in Class 2 District 1, along with 17 other schools.
The HHS boys and girls track and field teams are in Class 3 District 5, along with Ava, Buffalo, Cuba, Liberty, Mountain Grove, Salem, St. James, Strafford and Willow Springs. Cuba will host the district championship meet.
The host sites of district competition in baseball, softball, tennis and golf have not yet been announced.
