A pair of Houston Middle School students qualified for the National Junior Beta Convention by placing at this week’s state convention.
Sixth grader Kellen Lee was the top finisher – and Missouri state champion – in health and physical education. Seventh grader William Cook placed fourth in social studies.
The 23rd annual Elementary / Junior Beta Convention was held March 10-12 in Branson. The national convention, which brings together top finishers from 18 states, will be held in June in Nashville, Tennessee.
