Members of the Cabool Police Department handled 13 traffic stops resulting in three summonses issued March 9 to 15.
On March 15, officers were dispatched to Highway AV at U.S. 60 for an individual fleeing the scene of an accident. According to officers, the accident occurred due to a silver Ford crossing into the path of another vehicle traveling westbound on U.S. 60. The westbound vehicle swerved to avoid collision and ended up in a ditch at the intersection, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. The Ford continued northbound on Highway AV. No injuries were reported, officers said. Investigation is ongoing.
