Tuesday (March 31) is the last day to file for county offices.
Persons must complete paperwork by 5 p.m. in the county clerk’s office on the third floor of the Texas County Administration Center on Grand Avenue in downtown Houston.
Offices on the ballot for the August primary are: Associate judge, circuit clerk, county clerk, presiding commissioner, prosecuting attorney, recorder of deeds and township political committeemen and committeewomen.
