Houston senior forward Gracyn McNiell was rewarded for a standout season with a selection to the first team of the 2025-26 all-SCA basketball team.

HHS sophomore Ava Koch, the Lady Tigers’ starting point guard, joined McNiell with an honorable mention nod.

Despite being undersized at 5-foot-6, McNiell was a force in the paint for Houston. She averaged a double-double of 17.1 points and 10.0 rebounds, highlighted by 8 consecutive double-doubles to end her career. McNiell also led the Lady Tigers with 3.0 steals per game and 6 charges.

Koch led HHS with 2.9 assists per game and shot a team-best 70.8% from the foul line.

Thayer swept the conference’s individual honors as sophomore Ryleigh Davis was named player of the year and Denny Young was selected coach of the year.
