In just its second year of participation, the Raymondville Junior Beta Club is sending two of its members to nationals.

Seventh grader Tohbyas Smith placed second in math and eighth grader Wyatt Kell was third in drawing during the Missouri state conference to qualify for this summer’s national convention.

“Qualifying for nationals is a significant accomplishment, reflecting both the students’ commitment and the support of their teachers and peers,” said Raymondville sponsor Charlene Bever.

“I’m proud of all the students who put in the hard work, dedication and volunteer hours for the club. Raymondville Junior Beta Club continues to grow stronger each year, building confidence and leadership skills among its members.”
