A 26-year-old Houston man was injured Monday morning in a crash on Route 21 in Washington County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The Houston man was driving a northbound 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan that struck the rear of a towed vehicle attached to a 2026 Peterbilt driven by a man from Mexico, Missouri. The patrol said the van traveled into the southbound lane, where the front of a 2003 Ford F-150 operated by a Fletcher man was struck.

The Houston man, who was not identified by the patrol and was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital. The Fletcher driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital. Each had minor injuries. The Caravan and F-150 were totaled. The Peterbilt had minor damage.
