Between April 20 and 26, the Houston Police Department answered 178 calls for service and initiated 19 traffic stops, which resulted in three citations and 19 warnings.
- On April 20, officers responded to the 400 block of King Street for a theft. Investigation is ongoing.
- On April 22, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. Following an investigation, officers cited Nicholas M. Jones, 34, of Houston, for stealing under $750, and Kimberly K. Folsom, 58, of Houston, for receiving stolen property.
- On April 22, officers received a report of forgery by a citizen. Investigation is ongoing.
- On April 22, officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Sam Houston Boulevard for a forgery. Investigation is ongoing.
- On April 23, officers responded to the 1200 block of Thomasville Road for a disturbance. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Roger Hill, 39, of Houston, brandished a firearm at a victim who was sitting inside a vehicle in a nearby parking lot. Hill was arrested and transported to the Texas County Jail. A warrant was later issued charging Hill with unlawful use of a weapon.
- On April 24, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on U.S. 63 near S. Industrial Drive. One party reported injuries and was transported by private vehicle for medical evaluation.Â
- On April 24, officers received a complaint of a school bus stop-arm violation on a city street. Investigation is ongoing.
- On April 25, officers responded to the 900 block of Indian Creek Trail for a peace disturbance complaint. Investigation is ongoing.
- On April 26, officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on U.S. 63, near Route 17. Two people were transported for medical evaluation.Â
- On April 26, officers responded to the 1200 block of Thomasville Road for a theft. Following an investigation, officers cited Daniel J. Loehr, 63, of Houston, for stealing under $750.
