Charges are expected in an alleged parental kidnapping of a child Tuesday afternoon north of Houston that set off a search.
The Texas County Sheriff’s Department was notified at about 4:25 p.m. and quickly responded to an area around Sand Shoals Road and Route E. Other agencies, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Houston Police Department, joined the effort to locate the four-year-old girl who they say was taken by a parent.
The investigation spread to include Greene County, where the man and the missing child were found a few hours later.
