An accident Thursday morning left a Mountain Grove resident with moderate injuries, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

MSgt. Justin Piccinino said a southbound 2005 Dodge Ram driven by a 69-year-old man failed to negotiate a curve about three miles north of Mountain Grove on Route 95 and traveled off the roadway.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. He was not identified by the patrol. The truck had moderate damage.
