Charlotte Sue Metz, 71, passed away on March 30, 2026, in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born on April 14, 1954, in Crocker, Missouri to Eskel Taylor and Norma Sileven. 

Charlotte went to high school in Iberia. She married Richard Henry Metz in 1992. Charlotte enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing Bingo and cards, making cherry cobblers and spending time with her family and friends. She was a yearly supporter of St. Jude and various law enforcement agencies. 

Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Metz; mother, Norma Sileven; father, Eskel Taylor; sister, Darlene Stark; and grandchildren, Cody Wilson and Peyton Derrick. She is survived by her children, George Bax Jr. of Jefferson City, Missouri and Christina Chambers of Gravois Mills, Missouri; lifelong friend and companion, Darryl Maynard Humphrey; siblings, Charlene Fowler of Houston, Robert Taylor of Iberia and David Taylor of Iberia; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

A visitation for Charlotte will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with David Jett officiating.
