A Solo man sustained moderate injuries Thursday night in a Webster County accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Jason Philpott said a northbound 2000 GMC Sierra failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of Saddle Club Road and struck two fences at about 5:15 p.m. about two miles north of Fordland.

The 73-year-old man, who was wearing a seat belt and was not identified, was taken to Cox South in Springfield.

The vehicle had extensive damage.
