Phelps County Master Gardeners (MGs) announce a big Spring Plant Sale.

Proceeds fund educational projects for the public.

MGs will be on hand to provide planting demonstrations and answer questions. MGs extend plant knowledge and best practices for Missouri weather and soil conditions, based on research from Missouri universities.

The sale is Saturday, May 9, from 8 to 11 a.m., at the Rolla Saturday Farmer’s Market (in the parking lot near JC Penney’s), at 1050 South Bishop Ave.

The sale is cash-only and plants include vegetables, trees, annuals, perennials, native plants, shrubs, herbs and indoor plants.
