A Summersville woman received moderate injuries Tuesday night in a crash on Route 17 just south of her hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Sarah Swink said a southbound 2009 Cadillac CTS operated by a 67-year-old driver traveled off the left side of the road, struck a culvert and became airborne at 6:18 p.m.
She was flown to Mercy in Springfield. The vehicle had moderate damage. The driver, who was not identified, was not wearing a seat belt.
Assisting at the scene were MSgt. Christopher Kimes, Summersville Fire Department and Mercy ambulance.
