The Houston High School tennis team won 5-4 Tuesday (April 7) at Licking.

The win was the squad’s second straight.

  • No. 1 singles: Senior Kaleb McGiboney lost 9-8 in a tiebreaker.
  • No. 2 singles: Senior Jack Sandberg won 8-2.
  • No. 3 singles: Senior Gavin Altman lost 6-8.
  • No. 4 singles: Senior Riley Wilson won 8-5.
  • No. 5 singles: Freshman Ty Bratt lost 3-8.
  • No. 6 singles: Sophomore Ryan Haslett won 8-0.
  • No. 1 doubles: McGiboney/Sandberg won 8-2.
  • No. 2 doubles: Wilson/Bratt lost 7-9.
  • No. 3 doubles: Altman/Haslett won 8-3.

The Tennis Tigers are back in action today (April 8) at the annual Salem Invitational.
