A Cabool man fleeing from law enforcement on a motorcycle Sunday night crashed north of Norwood, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Travis Sullivan said the 2009 Honda was traveling northbound on Highway E when it failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway at about 9:05 p.m.

Landane R. Thomas, 23, of Cabool, is charged with felony resisting arrest by fleeing, felony driving while revoked or suspended, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, having no insurance, stunt driving and exceeding the speed limit – 26 miles per hour or more.

Thomas, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Cox South in Springfield by ambulance with minor injuries. The motorcycle was totaled.
